Credit is arithmetic, not politics
One formula, applied the same way to every contribution on every build.

Someone posts an unfinished build
An idea, a half-built rig, or something almost done. The brief says exactly what is missing, and a bounty can be attached — or added later.

You log the work you actually did
Not a promise. A record: minutes spent, how hard it was, how much it moved the build, and a link to the evidence.

The build owner accepts or rejects it
Accepted work enters the ledger with a fingerprint. Rejected work is never paid and never silently absorbed.

The bounty splits by weight
Every accepted contribution gets weight = hours x difficulty x impact. Your share is your weight over the total. No negotiation after the fact.

Worked example
A $6,000 bounty. Two accepted contributions: a 6-hour CFD sweep at difficulty 4 and impact 5 (weight 120), and a 2-hour drawing pack at difficulty 2, impact 3 (weight 12). Total weight 132 — so the sweep takes 90.91% ($5455) and the drawing pack 9.09% ($545).
